June through September 2017
In the summer after my second year at the University of Chicago, I worked at the headquarters of Earthjustice, a non-profit environmental law firm, in downtown San Francisco. I worked on the Creative Team as the editorial intern, producing material for the blog and quarterly magazine, including the works below.
A data-accurate infographic about dangerously high arsenic levels that were found beneath a coal-fired power plant in Tennessee.
For the issue of Earthjustice Quarterly that I worked on over the summer, we wanted to do a spread on the amount of public comments that people around the world had submitted against the Trump administration. In my free time at work, I came up with these mock-ups, mostly using filler text and quotes. My design was largely used in the final version of the magazine, which was super exciting!
